2006 - Alimak Hek acquires the manufacturing business from Champion Elevators in the USA

2005 - Intervect re-named Alimak Hek

2001 - Intervect AB was formed through the merger of Alimak and Hek

1996 - Alimak acquires Cimar, Italian work platform manufacturer

1983 - First modular mast climbing work platform launched

1978 - The first rental company established

1976 - The first mast climbing work platform was introduced

1973 - First delivery to the offshore industry

1961 - HEK founded in Holland by Piet van Hek
